I was new, I was junior, and no one was doing anything with it, so I ran Shut Up, We’re Blogging the Wieden + Kennedy New York blog. This involved chronicling the culture of the agency as well asking the hard questions, like can bolt cutters cut through pens, or who took Bianca’s monkeys.
Like pretty much every other blog, Shut Up, We’re Blogging has gone the way of the horse buggy. But fear not, dear reader. I’ve preserved a smattering of the W+K NY Web Log here, so that you might still enjoy the novelty of riding its weird, malnourished corpse.
What a time to be alive.

Dear WKNYorkers, assorted internet stalkers and preverts,
A statement was issued today by Bianca: “If you or anyone you know has kidnapped the blue plastic monkeys hanging from the light-box on the 7th floor, please return them. No ransom will be issued and no judgements made. Just please deliver them un-harmed so they may be returned safely back into their barrel. Thank you for your cooperation.”
We here at “Shut Up, We’re Blogging” hope for the speedy return of the aforementioned monkeys mañana, or soon thereafter.

anyway there’s a nail in the one of the urinals in the south bathroom on the 7th floor. it will not budge. it’s been there for a real long time now, at least since before last fall.
