I met Zack in middleschool, he was probably one of my first if not my first friend I made when I got to there. He was really smart, which was sort of intimidating at first, since at 234 I was like, one of the "smart kids". Anyway He was nuts, jumping around in his chair just like, impatient with responses to teachers. He was a big nerd, still kind is. We got along well, not sure why exactly, I guess we were just awkward dorks. Anyway he ended up going to Stuy with a bunch of people, and we kept in touch while he was in college. He came out his Freshman year, and none of us were terribly surprised. He's all gay and living in DC now. He's one of my best friends, and he always says I'm his best straight guy friend. Which I think is because I'm his only straight dude friend. Anyway, he's in government now--we always thought he would be, and he's all like, privy to things and stuff. He and Rue were real close for a while. They were like siblings almost. 

He says he's trying to move to the city. I really hope so.

He's probably my only OG friend that is like, sort of in my wheelhouse professionally. Sorta anyway.
